Where to stay for one to three months

Seven cities, each with areas to live in, rough rents, coworking, weather by month and the nearest border run.

  • Da Nang: A flat beach city with cafes, coworking and a rainy autumn.
  • Hoi An: A small old town with rice fields. Floods most years in October and November.
  • Ho Chi Minh City: The biggest city, with the most choice and the heaviest traffic.
  • Hanoi: The capital in the north, with a cool winter and a hot wet summer.
  • Da Lat: A cool highland town with few coworking spaces and no land border near.
  • Nha Trang: A sea-front city on a long bay. Wet from September to December.
  • Phu Quoc: An island with a small remote-work scene and a ferry to Cambodia.
