Nha Trang for a one to three month stay
Nha Trang is a sea-front city on a long bay in south central Vietnam. It has a city beach, diving trips and a busy center.
Prices below are rough. They come from travel and cost sites that disagree with each other. Anything we could not confirm says "check before you go".
Where to live
- Beachfront. Hotels, cafes and the long city beach. Busy and easy.
- Cai River center. Markets and local food, often at lower prices than the beachfront.
- North end. Near Hon Chong, with sea views and a calmer feel.
Rent and monthly costs
Landlords usually quote in US dollars and pay is in dong, at about 26,000 to the dollar 1. Ask for the deposit, which one site puts at about two months' rent 2.

Coworking and cafes
There are cafes with wifi along the beach streets, and a few coworking spaces. We found no price list, so visit before you pay for a month and test the speed.

Getting there and around
Cam Ranh airport is about 45 minutes south of the city by car. Check before you go. Ride apps and taxis cover the city, and the beach road is easy to walk.
Nearest border run
No land crossing is close. Air Cambodia has flown Cam Ranh to Phnom Penh twice a week since Jan 17, 2026. Many people go to Ho Chi Minh City first and use the Moc Bai run 7. Check before you go.
